Aquila is the closest private Game Reserve to Cape Town, a mere 2 hour drive from the City Centre. Aquila is situated on the national flower route and has several hectares of mountain Protea. The land can be divided into 3 separate biomes - Fynbos, Renosterveldt and succulent Karoo.

This prestigious Four Star, malaria free, Private Game Reserve stands in an area of 4,500 hectares of Southern Karoo Highlands encapsulating breathtaking majestic mountains, rivers, valleys and kloofs. It is home to Cape Town's closest Rhino and Giraffes and was proclaimed a private Nature Reserve in 1985.

Take the N1 from Cape Town. About 10km before Touwsriver turn left onto the R46 to Ceres. The entrance is 2km on the left.
