Cathedral Peak: Hotel Reviews and Guest Feedback

The drive to Cathedral Peak is very scenic. You do however have to keep your eyes open for the livestock that think that they are invincible to the cars driving by.

Upon arrival to departure of your stay you are treated very well. Almost anything that you want or do, you can here. If you have children they have a wonderful play area and have qualified nannies to baby sit.

Great views all the way there and while you are there. The family rooms we were in were large ( 1 room - parents bed and 2 singles for kids ). Our kids really enjoyed the dedicated kids dining room. Where they could be left to eat by themselves with their kids under supervision of a few minders. The place is geared towards a great family holiday. There are hikes you can do with small kids as well (ours are 3 and 5 ). My suggestion is to get a few picnic packs from the hotel, a bottle of wine and then hike down to the small river ( 15 mins ) the kids will have hours of fun playing in the stream and you can have some adult time.

While the hotel is great for family's there is no shortage of things for couples to do. We had a great time from horse riding to hikes to doing helicopter flips ( a bit overpriced I think ) The food is great and the choice is fantastic. I was a little concerned about litter that some inconsiderate guests had left near the pool area not being cleaned up for ages. I noticed this in a few different places. The pubs were great. I spent a lot of time in there.
